Liu Xiaobo is the most outstanding person at present and for the last twenty years fighting for democracy in China. His single pen has been proven to be more powerful than the huge PLA army and the state machine of the Communist China.
He has sacrificed his own freedom repeatedly, fighting for the true freedom of his fellow countrymen. He is now being jailed, but neither he himself nor anyone else would ever think that he has been defeated.
He should have been given the Nobel Prize for Peace. The main reason for the delay is that his writings have not been translated into foreign languages from Chinese.
